Yinergi Qigong is based upon the principles, values and practices of natural health with its roots in ancient China and an internal martial art comparable to Tai Chi. The term "Yinergi" is based on two essential components: "yin" - meaning soft, yeilding or empty, and "energy" - referencing the universal active principle of living things --- embodying the belief that the soft, internal approach possesses the secrets to our untapped potential. Yinergi Qigong is both a physical and energetic form of movement, meditation and mind-body centering. It involves the coordination of specific postures and motions that bring a stronger connection between the mind and body. It also focuses on developing and balancing Chi (Qi), the inherent energy of the Chinese acupuncture system. Soft partner drills that bridge the Chi meridians of individuals harmonize and cultivate a greater awareness of the recieving and delivering flow of energy. Yinergi unifies the traditional internal principles of body alignment with a philosophy that embodies the inherent connection between ourselves and the environment around us. It encompasses a vision of oneness in which each person is seen as part of a whole and directs a return to our natural and more innate sense of living. Physically, Yinergi adjusts muscles and ligaments to their ideal length and tension. Organs assume their ideal pressure and temperature. The nervous system relaxes and people begin to accrue reserves of energy, all leading to a more relaxed and healthier mind and body. Like so many people looking to live life to their fullest, celebrities such as Jennifer Anniston, Richard Gere, Oprah, Cate Blanchett, Kate Winslet and Nicole Kidman, Meryl Streep, Orlando Bloom, Sasha Cohen, Sting, John Travolta, Gwyneth Paltrow, Cameron Diaz, Jane Fonda, Jodie Foster, Demi Moore, David Duchovny, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Jerry Seinfeld, Candice Bergen, Raquel Welch, Jamie Lee Curtis and Halle Berry are all involved in some form of qigong or bodywork. Yinergi Qigong is for everyone. It was developed specifically to help everyday people gain the natural mind & body wellness benefits of ancient Eastern practices. |
